"We’ve supported Newcastle duo Twayn for a while on this show. I swear there’s about 10 mins of me saying ‘this is their best track yet".

"We gave their last track, ‘Spine’, Track Of The Week, but this right here, this is gold. The songwriting, the harmonies, the production. It feels that there’s no turning back from this point. You’ve set the bar for yourselves Twayn. A proper mic drop moment. This is ‘Scary’ their latest single”.

“Twayn with Scary. They’re supporting Jools Holland on his 2025 winter tour this year playing Bristol, Manchester, Cardiff and London. Their upcoming EP, ‘Sadness Is My Sanctuary’. I love what Twayn are doing at the moment going from strength to strength".

" For audiences, following the path of Twayn's songwriting as they navigate friendships and relationships in all their messes and glory will be a rewarding experience; if their success so far is anything to go by, who knows where it might take them ".

"If they’re not already on your radar then say hello to Twayn, featuring twins Hannah and Grace, who have been going from strength to strength. And with their new EP release, ‘Mess’, it’s easy to see why they’re seen as ones to watch in the North East.

‘Mess’ delves into the world of relationship endings, from realising when it’s time to walk away to messy breakups.

With a keen ear for crafting an anthem, and emotional maturity beyond their years, the duo have created an EP filled with hot hits".

" Twayn, an indie-pop duo, took to the stage in London on Saturday, November 22 to perform a 25-minute set in front of more than 5,000 people.

The duo said: "We played songs from our upcoming EP, ‘Sadness Is My Sanctuary’, as well as ‘Sweet 16’, one of the first songs we ever released, and one unreleased track.

"The audience was fabulous and so many people came to chat after our set that we were really quite overwhelmed by all of the lovely comments we received.

The sisters have been building their music career since their school days, earning a spot in the top 10 of the Young Songwriters competition and finishing second out of more than 22,000 entries in the Liverpool International Songwriting Competition (Road to Nashville 2022).

At 17, they performed at the iconic Exit/In venue in Nashville.

Twayn have continued to develop their sound snce leaving school in 2023.

They have supported artists across the UK, appeared on BBC Radio Newcastle, and featured nationally on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch.

In 2024, the sisters wrote and performed music for their first festival season, and this year, they stepped up to Hardwick Festival.

Their song writing has earned them regular airplay on BBC Introducing North East and Amazing Radio UK and USA.

Twayn’s third EP, Sadness Is My Sanctuary, was released on Friday, November 28.

Newcastle’s Twayn lit up the the Tree House Arena with their heartfelt ballads, vocal harmonies and delightful pop stylings. The duo showcased all their talents, which resulted in the twin sisters being chosen to support Jools Holland at the O2 City Hall at the end of last year .

‘Spine’ is the latest single from Newcastle-based siblings Twayn.

With a growing catalogue of anthems and a live show that’s pure emotional theatre, these 20-year-old singer/songwriters are making waves in the North East and beyond, having caught the eye of the legendary Jools Holland. The sibling duo has just announced that Twayn will be supporting Jools Holland on his 2025 Winter Tour at The Royal Albert Hall, O2 Apollo Manchester, Cardiff Arena and Bristol Beacon which is pretty impressive this early in their careers.

"The trajectory of Northeast-based 18-year-old twins Twayn has been pretty remarkable".
