TWAYN WAS INVITED TO PLAY AT THE MUSIC INDUSTRY EVENT 25 NOV 2025
On Tuesday 25th November we headed back down to London as we had been invited to play the London industry showcase with @SESAC @MMFUK and @Karouselmusic at @paperdresslive.
For only £9, the audience got to see four carefully selected musicians perform a 25 minute set each. What an absolute bargain and a fabulous idea! The talent was off

For only £9, the audience got to see four carefully selected musicians perform a 25 minute set each. What an absolute bargain and a fabulous idea! The talent was off the scale.
We had such a great night. It's also been recorded, which is a bit of a nifty idea. It's pretty cool as it's also designed as a way to pay a bit of money to grassroots musicians, so we love that.

It's been and gone but we think there's every chance that this might have been a dream! What a moment. To be playing this iconic venue at only 20 years old, supporting the legendary Jools Holland and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra ... what a career highlight.
Thank you to Jools and his team for inviting us along to four dates on his Winter 2025 tour. We are grateful beyond measure xX

Our latest single, Danger Meets Desperate, came out on Friday 27th June 2025. It's a bit different for us; think 80's synth and pop drums in the verses, then the chorus brings huge power chords and a half-time break in the most head-bashing rock sound we've ever created xX

This is a first for us. Our music video for 'Christmas Market', created with animators Jenni Romeril and Ella MacDougall, is part of the official selection to be played at the Sunderland Shorts Film Festival 2025. It is the event's 10th Anniversary which will be held in Sunderland between May 12th-18th, and we are extremely proud to have been chosen.

This news really brightened up our January! Thanks so much to Darkus Magazine for naming Twayn 'Ones To Watch' in 2025. The magazine is available in printed format and gives a comprehensive review of Twayn and a number of other local artists. It should be a really informative review and will surely set us all up when we are booking gig and festival tickets for the year ahead.
